Electric chain hoists are available in a range of capacities from 60kg all the way up to 10,000kg. They can be powered by single phase 110v/240v or three-phase 415v electricity. Typical height of lift is anything from 3 up to 60 metres - and they are usually operated via a low voltage cable pendant control.

If required, some models can be supplied with a radio remote control. The hoist speed is another factor to consider - as this can range from around one metre per minute up to 8 metres per minute.
